Salome Fiori is the latest addition to Ashbury Labelling’s growing International team. She has an MSc from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and joins us from Leatherhead Food Research, where she provided expert regulatory advice for a number of European countries including Austria and Germany.

Salome’s seven years of food industry experience have given her a broad set of skills, having previously worked in food safety and quality assurance for a major Swiss manufacturer, as well as for the EUFIC in Brussels as a researcher.

Speaking English, French and German, Salome adds to the team’s already impressive linguistic knowledge: collectively Ashbury Labelling’s employees speak almost 30 languages. This breadth of coverage, combined with regulatory knowledge spanning 40 different countries, allows the Ashbury International team to respond quickly, efficiently and with confidence to our clients’ labelling requirements.

James Post, Ashbury Labelling’s Managing Director, said: “Salome’s appointment is another fantastic step towards building the most skilled and talented team of international regulatory advisors in the industry. Ashbury’s regulatory expertise can now cover almost a quarter of the world, including many important emerging markets such as Eastern Europe and China.

The team is expanding rapidly, which not only provides us with the opportunity to take on excellent advisors like Salome, but also ensures that we are able to deliver labelling advice to our clients which is clear, accurate and right first time.”
