About Us

James Post and Justin Davies founded Ashbury Labelling in 2010.

Our aim was to take a refreshingly new approach to the regulatory and process issues surrounding specifications and artwork approval. Ten years of food industry experience had left us frustrated with the traditional approach taken by other providers in the industry. We knew it could be done better, and we knew that improvements in process management and a focus on a ‘Right First Time’ approach would lead to significant savings in the artwork process. Since then Ashbury Labelling has approved thousands of specifications, pack copies and artwork in multiple languages in all corners of the world.

Since we started we have hired over 80 dedicated and knowledgeable technologists and regulatory advisors, leading us to become the UK’s largest regulatory advisor with a dedicated team capable of delivering single language or multi language approvals for a broad range of European and non-European markets.  Despite our growth, we have remained focused on our core principles and we continue to deliver clear, accurate advice and drive the behaviours required to achieve Right First Time.

Our Technical Director, Geoff Brown, leads our team of specification and pack copy experts.  Our team deliver thousands of multi-lingual and UK pack copies per month and consistently deliver to our Right First Time artwork approval standard.  Geoff has 30 years experience of senior technical management which has helped us develop the principles of the Ashbury Way into a stable, repeatable and accurate process.
