Our team has been recruited from across the food industry; they have extensive experience and insight into the pressures companies face every day in meeting the demanding standards of retailers, and also the commercial pressures of getting labelling ‘Right First Time’. This means they will always try to work with you to give you advice on how to comply with UK and EU food legislation, while being as flexible as possible to find a commercial solution to your labelling issues.

This is backed up by our regulatory affairs knowledge; our people come from a varied range of advisory, manufacturing and retail roles highly regarded throughout the food industry. Sandeep Topiwala

Regulatory Affairs Manager

Sandeep has 10 years’ experience in the food industry and joined Ashbury Labelling in 2012 from Danone where he was Regulatory Manager. Sandeep now leads our team of 40 UK Technical and Regulatory experts and works with our diverse clients from M&S and Innocent to Jamie Oliver. He started his career in product development in the flavourings industry, and then quickly developed into a skilled specification technologist for McCormick Foods. His six years' experience there in various technical functions including technical account management and supplier data and raw material data validation gave him the grounding to become the Regulatory Affairs expert he is today.

With a Masters in European Food Regulatory Affairs and experience in various areas of the food industry from ingredients and raw materials to finished foods, and also his recent experience in the PARNUTs industry, Sandeep brings a wealth of practical understanding on regulatory requirements with a commercial focus.
