FR/BENELUX Regulatory Team Leader

We are looking for a Team Leader for our growing FR/Benelux team 

FR/BENELUX Regulatory Team Leader – £35,000 +benefits

The primary function is to provide support and coaching to a team of Regulatory Advisors who are responsible for artwork input, from pack copy to approval, whilst managing processes and ensuring that the work is delivered on time and exceeds clients’ expectations.  The role also includes training, briefing, reporting and communicating with internal teams and clients alike.   They will also also coordinates and/or overviews other projects, answers regulatory enquiries, provides high quality regulatory updates and provide support in the investigation of non-conformances and on artwork generation, adhering not only to regulatory requirements, but also corporate labelling policies.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years’ experience in a Regulatory Affairs role, or in a related field.
  • Experience in training and managing/supervising staff.
  • Commercial awareness of the food industry and consultancy businesses.
  • Understanding of small businesses’ work environment.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Degree in Food Science/Food Law or in a related field coupled with experience in a regulatory affairs environment.
  • Fully conversant with EU and French and/or Dutch and/or Belgian legislation.

ABILITIES

  • Fluency in English.
  • Fluency in French and/or Dutch.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented and committed to providing an outstanding level of service to all.
  • Good understanding of food industry challenges of the countries/regions of responsibility.
  • Good understanding of food culture and consumer trends of the countries/regions of responsibility.
  • Ability to analyse information in a structured manner and prepare coherent communication, both internally and externally.
